The Blind Dragon Who Could See

When a blind dragon crashes into a Viking village, a young Viking named Inge becomes his eyes, and learns the dragon knows something terrible is coming.

On the edge of the Viking world, near the cold shores of Iceland, a village sleeps.

Then, one freezing night, something falls from the sky.

A dragon, enormous and scarred, with eyes clouded white. The villagers expect fire. It never comes. The creature only lies in the snow and turns his head toward them, as if he has been searching for someone.

The elders want him gone. The warriors want him dead. Only one young Viking, Inge, steps closer.

The dragon knows things he should not know. He speaks of what has not yet happened, and he asks for one thing. Inge doesn’t yet know why he was chosen, or what the dragon has been running from.

But something is coming. And the dragon was already waiting for it.
